Awana Volunteers 2025-2026

Join us in reaching boys and girls with the gospel during our weekly Awana program! We will meet on Wednesday nights, and are focused on reaching boys and girls with the gospel of Christ, and training them to serve Him through Bible memorization, games, Bible studies, and fun. We will be starting club this year on Wednesday night, September 3rd, 2025. 

We are looking for volunteers who have a heart for serving the Lord and loving on His precious children. This year, would you prayerfully consider volunteering in Awana as a table leader, game leader, secretary, classroom director, or assistant? Or perhaps you would be willing to simply listen to children as they recite God’s word?

We have many openings, and are in need of a crew of volunteers to serve a one year commitment starting this September and ending in May. If you participated in Awana last year, you know we had an incredible turnout of kids!

• Required for all volunteers: Attended Desert Hills for 6 months
• Required for teaching/director roles: Active Desert Hills Membership
• Other requirements: Ministry Safe Training, Background check, and Interview
